Alycia Putnam & Family is a lively instrumental trio rooted in Nova Scotia’s rich musical traditions. Alycia leads with dynamic fiddle playing that blends Celtic and eclectic influences. She’s joined by her dad Robert on guitar and her mom Kelly, who adds a distinctive flair with small bagpipes on select sets.
Together, they have created three studio albums. Their most recent, Wired for Sound, includes 13 tracks and the immense talent of 10 of the province’s most well-known musicians.

SheNova is a vibrant quartet from mainland Nova Scotia made up of a family trio and a lifelong musical friend. Together, they create a rich and dynamic sound that blends Celtic and old-time fiddle traditions with bagpiping, and vocals, infused with elements of folk, country, and pop.
With seven albums and thousands of performances behind them, SheNova’s repertoire spans everything from high-energy jigs and reels to heartfelt ballads and original compositions. Their show is a lively mix of instrumental music, storytelling, and vocal performances that celebrate the cultural heritage of the East Coast.
