About

Alycia plays a variety of styles of fiddle music ranging from foot stompin’ Celtic, to more eclectic music, and incorporates these diverse influences into her shows. She is joined by her dad, Robert on guitar and her mom, Kelly on bagpipes. This instrumental trio can expand to feature other musicians, such as a singer or percussionist to complement their sound.

Alycia Putnam & Family have been performing together for over two decades at thousands of events spanning the globe from Pictou to Amsterdam. Whether performing as a trio or as part of a larger group, their live show has something for everyone.

Together, they have created three studio albums. Their most recent, Wired for Sound, includes 13 tracks and the immense talent of 10 of the province’s most well-known musicians.

“An engaging and entertaining selection from one of North America’s finest young fiddlers – Wired For Sound captures and conveys the Celtic Heart with great creative charm…” – Celtic Life International
